Scheme Benefits
Financial assistance up to ₹5 lakh for accidental death or disability. Specific amounts: ₹5 lakh for death/complete physical disability, loss of both hands/feet/eyes, or one hand and one leg. ₹2.5 lakh for loss of one hand/foot/eye or permanent disability >50% but <100%. ₹1.25 lakh for permanent disability >25% but <50%.
Who Can Apply
Applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh. Must be a registered landholder/co-landholder in revenue records, or cultivating land on lease/sharecropping basis. Age must be between 18 and 70 years at the time of accident/death/disability. Death or disability must be due to specified reasons like fire, flood, lightning, electrocution, snake bite, animal attack, drowning, storm, falling house, vehicle accident, landslide, earthquake, gas leak, explosion, falling in sewer chamber, or other accidents.

How to Apply
To apply for the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana, applicants must first download the official application form. The form requires details of the deceased/disabled farmer, date and cause of the accident, and applicant(s) information including name, relation to the deceased, address, mobile number, Aadhaar number, and bank account details. Required documents to be attached include proof of being a farmer (Khatauni, registered lease deed, or sharecropper certificate), age proof (High School certificate, Aadhaar, Voter ID, etc.), residence proof (domicile certificate, Aadhaar, Voter ID, etc.), post-mortem report/panchnama, death/disability certificate, succession certificate (if applicable), and a copy of the bank passbook. The completed application, along with all necessary documents, must be submitted in two copies (original and photocopy) to the concerned Tehsil office within 45 days of the accident. A receipt will be provided upon submission. The application will then undergo verification by the Tehsildar and Sub-Divisional Magistrate before being forwarded to the District Magistrate for final approval. Upon approval, the financial assistance will be transferred to the beneficiary's bank account within a maximum of 45 days from the application submission.
